The job
As a key member of our cross-technology development teams, you will leverage your expertise in polymers and coatings to inspire, provide analytical insights, solve problems, and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
You will collaborate with clients' specialists and managers, your IPU teammates, and external researchers in a professionally and personally enriching environment. We imagine that you can recognize yourself in one or more of the following descriptions:
You possess extensive polytechnical knowledge and recognize that a polymer is not merely a polymer, but a result of its formulation, processing, and lifespan. You know how to apply this knowledge to assess its characteristics in a product or component and relate that to potential technical challenges in use.
We are looking for a mindset more than a CV, but to succeed we expect that you will have minimum 3 years prior relevant working experience within polymeric materials and organic chemistry (polymers, coatings) and hold a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in ex. Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
You may have a background in the R&D department of a company with a desire to be challenged in a broader field of applications, or you may have an academic background with a desire to get closer to applications. We will be particularly interested in your ability to act as a trusted advisor, managing customers’ expectations so your work meets the agreed quality on time and budget.
You need to be fluent in English (written and spoken) and hold a Danish work permit. Danish language skills are an advantage.
